Sagres Sun Stay Surf camp is family-owned local camp based in Sagres, an enchanting village in a national natural park known all around the world for being one of Europe’s best surfing spot! Our surf camp’s mission is to provide unforgettable experiences, where you improve your skills in surf and have fun at the same time. Our surf coaches are professionally certified and will be able to guide you, should you be a beginner or an intermediate. If you are an advanced student, we have individual lockers and cleaning facilities for your surf equipment.

Should you wish to bring along your board we also offer an extensive range of surf and water sport equipment to rent. All our surf packages are all inclusive and also have yoga classes to ensure the best stretching preparations for the surf lessons. Given that Sagres is one of the most consistent spots for windsurf in Portugal, we also are thrilled to provide mixed experiences of surf and windsurf for those who would like to try both sports.

When you stay with us you pamper yourself with a luxury experience in the newly renovated doorms and private rooms, where you can spend time relaxing in the hostel’s amazing pool after you hit the waves! And off course you can not finish the day without catching the amazing sunsets on the Atlantic Sea! Our restaurant and bar are open during the day and evenings allowing you to taste local delicious meals cooked by our in-house chef and have a drink with newly created friends in a relaxed atmosphere. We have built our camp based on eco-values and this is why up to 90% of our energy comes from solar panels and our swimming pool is sea salted, containing less chemicals. 

We want you to profit from everything that this amazing region has to offer and this is why there are a range of activities available to explore such as kayaking, skating, hiking, bike rentals and bird watching. We have a co-working space for those digital nomads who would like work, while catching up all the activities that Sagres has to offer you. Sagres Sun Stay is looks forward to welcoming you! ACCOMMODATION TYPE 

Our twin rooms with pool view are perfect for couples or friends who want their privacy and maximum comfort. With heated floors, ensuit bathroom, flat screen TV, fridge and a terrace and view over the swimming pool, our rooms will offer you pure relaxation

We have also 3 types of dorm rooms: for 6, 8 and 12 people. They are beautifully decorated and ensure your privacy and security with bed, curtains, lockers and heating during winter.  Free bed linen is available including duvets. The two big communal bathrooms are equipped with hair dryer and shower gel. Our communal kitchen is fully equipped and open to our guests.

Check-In, Check-Out

Check-In time is from 15h00 until 21h00. Guests are asked to let us know in advance in case they need to Check-In after that schedule. Check-out time is until 11h00. Late Check-Out may be possible to do always depending on the availability and always when spoken with the Hostel, when not agreed with the entity/disrespect of the rule it must be applied an additional cost.      

Cancelations: Cancelations or changes to the reservation must be communicated by email (info@sagresunstay.com) with respective booking number, first and last name and the date of stay. Guests who decide to cancel later than two weeks before arrival, to leave earlier or that do not show up will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
